Lessons are available in western or hunt seat. We have several horses in our lesson program for all levels and all ages of riders. We can teach the beginner the basics and move them in to the world of horse shows or trail riding, whatever it is they desire to do! We are a low key no pressure barn and while many of our riders compete at local game shows thru this program, we have several that just want to learn enough to hit the trails.

                                     $25/hour

This program is for the 3-5 year olds interested in getting started at an early age! Lessons are 1 on 1 only but you can add a child at the end for a pony ride for an additional $10. Lesson will include catching and tacking as well as putting the pony away.

Jennifer Lenfestey is no longer offering lessons or training at this time....Any boarders interested in the english disciplines and needing help are allowed to bring their trainer on site for lessons.

A Little About Alex:

Alex Meyer interned with us summer of 2010 to learn about trainining and teaching. She gained experience by riding the green horses as well as help out with lessons and summer camp.

She attended St. Andrews Presbyterian College and earned a degree in Equine Management. While in college she was instructed and coached under world renowned AQHA coach Carla Wennberg and competed  intercollegiately in Western horsemanship for 4 years.

Alex has shown hunt seat, western pleasure, western horsemanship and barrel racing. She has been riding and showing for over a decade.

For riders 6 and up!

Pricing:

Privates for $40

Semi Privates(2 riders) for $30

Group(3-5 riders) for $25

Lessons are scheduled for an hour and include assisting in catching and tacking. If you have the ability to catch and tack your horse on your own we highly recommend you come 15 to 20 min early to get started saving your lesson time for more riding.

Cancellation Policy:

 We have implemented a cancellation policy for late cancellation for any kind of Lesson or Birthday Party. If you have to cancel for any reason and there is less than 24 hours notice we will charge a cancellation fee. If you have a prepaid lesson it will cost you the one lesson for that day.
